Hey! Thanks for this question. The album got “finished”, but, unfortunately, the label I was signed to folded over the summer, and no one could really foresee that happening. So, now my team and I are in the process of sorting out what comes with the aftermath of that. I am no longer on a label, so if my album does come out (it will), I’ll be releasing it independently.

Then there’s an issue of the songs. I’d started recording some of the songs that were going to be on that album when I was fifteen. So, now, here I am, almost twenty, and I think that some of those songs are no longer really a representation of where I’m at anyway. So, I’ve decided to kind of cut my losses and start over. Now I’m working as a songwriter for Glassnote Records, which has been amazing! I’m writing for other artists as well as myself, and I couldn’t be happier. The songs on whatever “album” or compilation I release in the future will definitely be whatever ones from some of these writing sessions I’ve been going on and ones that I’ve written more recently. Maybe some older songs will be on it too, but who knows?

I am totally cool and fine with everything in life, no regrets or bad blood, this is what was meant to happen to me. Also, I won’t be releasing an ALBUM all at once, but I will be releasing a ton of new music this year in either singles or EPs, more frequently than you’d think ;) in fact, so frequently you might get sick of me.
